A full-sleeve project of this magnitude requires a serious commitment from both the artist and the client. This is not a piece that can be rushed into a single weekend.

Artist Note: Good tattoos aren't cheap, and cheap tattoos aren't good. Expect a minimum of 4 to 6 full-day sessions spaced precisely 3 to 4 weeks apart to guarantee flawless skin barrier recovery between passes.

The Breakdown of Sessions:

1. Session 1 (The Foundation): Consultation review, stencil placement positioning, and primary bold lining across the entire arm.
2. Session 2 (The Structure): Completing secondary line-work and packing the solid black background smoke and wind bars.
3. Session 3 (The Flow): Shading and smooth black-and-grey gradients transitions on the dragon's main body and scales.
4. Session 4 & 5 (The Life): Layering high-saturation color pigments into the flora, scales, and eyes.
5. Session 6 (The Polish): Final highlights, white ink accentuation, and comprehensive inspection of healed areas.

Critical Aftercare Protocols

Proper healing preserves up to 40% of your tattoo's final pigment retention. Your dedication at home directly dictates how vibrant this sleeve remains for the rest of your life.

• First 24 Hours: Leave your medical-grade adhesive protective wrap on. If fluid buildup stretches the wrap significantly, contact the studio immediately.
• The Wash Routine: Clean the arm 2 to 3 times daily using only lukewarm water and an antimicrobial, fragrance-free liquid soap. Pat completely dry with a clean paper towel.
• Hydration Balance: Apply a razor-thin layer of non-comedogenic, specialty tattoo ointment. Your skin should look slightly hydrated, never wet or glossy.
• The Golden Rules: Do not submerge the arm in water (no swimming or long baths), avoid heavy workouts that stretch the healing skin, and never pick or scratch the peeling flakes.
